Introduction to the trip

In the heart of the Calanques National Park, from Marseille to Cassis, you'll discover five exceptional hikes off the beaten track. This tour explores the different landscapes of the Calanques on foot: Cap Morgiou and the crests of Sormiou; the creeks of Sugiton, En Vau and Port Pin and the wild massifs of Marseilleveyre and Puget. In an unspoilt natural setting, you'll work in small groups to discover the secrets and history of the Calanques, with a specially trained guide.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Marseille - Aubagne-en-Provence
Pick-up at Aubagne-en-Provence station at 5pm or at our base camp in Aubagne-en-Provence from 4pm. Settle in, meet the group and present your stay. Opportunity to relax in the swimming pool.

Note: the transfer from Marseille to Aubagne is by minibus (free of charge).
Overnight in a cabanon.
 

D2 - Discovering Marseilleveyre and the Riou Islands
Depart from the Aubagne camp after breakfast and transfer to Les Goudes to the south of Marseille. You'll follow a little-used path on a balcony overlooking the Riou archipelago; the scenery is breathtaking and the visibility exceptional. Return via a small valley towards the Marseillesveyre cove, then along the coastal path. End of the tour at 17:00 in Marseille.

D3 - Da hike

Aubagne-en-Provence

Reception at Aubagne station in the afternoon or at our base camp in Aubagne. Installation, meeting and presentation of your stay. First evening with your guide. Possibility to relax at the swimming pool.

Hiking and paddle boarding in the Embiez archipelago

After breakfast at the camp, transfer by vehicle to the start of the activity at Six-Fours-les-Plages. The Embiez archipelago has a lagoon sheltered from the swell and the wind, ideal for initiation to stand up paddleboarding and discovering magnificent small coves. After the picnic, you will extend the discovery of these superb panoramas with a hike around the island with guaranteed swimming.
Dinner and overnight at the base camp in a lodge tent.

* Depending on weather conditions and only during All Saints and Easter holidays, this day may be replaced by a full day of hiking in the creeks of Morgiou and Sugiton.

Coastal path of Port d'Alon and snorkeling in the creeks

After breakfast at the camp, transfer by vehicle to Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer.You will follow the coastal path to arrive at the magnificent cove of Port d'Alon for a well-deserved picnic and bathe in crystal-clear water. In the afternoon, you will explore the seabed of the Mediterranean. Supervised by an eco-guide from the sea, you move along an underwater path with fins, mask and snorkel. Dinner and overnight at the base camp.

Vertigo hike and hike at Cap Canaille

In the heart of the Figuerolles calanque, you climb to the peak of Capucin for an aerial hike! Initiation to abseiling above translucent water. The point of view is magical and the activity very fun. Unforgettable moments in a special atmosphere far from the beaten track.In the afternoon, you continue the adventure on the crest line of Cap Canaille with extraordinary views of the Riou archipelago and the discovery of secret trails from our guide. Dinner and overnight and at the base camp.

Kayaking and hiking in the creeks of Cassis

You go to discover the most beautiful creeks of Cassis. Departing from Port-Miou, your hike will take you to the Port-Pin calanque and its blower hole, then the adventure continues to the famous En-Vau calanque. The afternoon continues with a leisurely kayak ride under the highest sea cliff in Europe and its translucent waters. Late afternoon and evening free on the port of Cassis. Return to camp at the end of the day.

* Depending on weather conditions and only during the All Saints and Easter holidays, the kayaking activity may be replaced by the electric mountain bike activity in the creeks of Cassis.

Aubagne-en-Provence - city trek by electric scooter in Marseille

Departure from Aubagne camp after breakfast and transfer to Marseille. City trek near the Old Port; you embark on an unusual visit of the city, on the handlebars of an electric scooter! Departing from the Old Port, you will discover the most beautiful sites in Marseille: Le Mucem, la Joliette, the historic district of Le Panier and finish at Pharo, for a magnificent view of the beautiful Massilia. Proposal for a small local restaurant on the port and end of the stay.
